I personally really love glass figures.  If I could, I would buy them all!  When I heard there was a glass pumpkin festival, my husband got really worried about our budget.  If you have never been, I highly recommend it.
I bought several glass pumpkins and this is definitely one of my favorites because I love the simplicity and complexity in one subject.  
I really like how many colors you can see in the stem if you put the correct lighting on it.  

In creating this image, I first set up the artificial snow, but quickly realized that I needed something very colorful to round out the image.  I then remembered the hair pins that I had made for my wedding, using Swarovski rhinestones, and after playing with many setups and different lighting, decided on this composition.
Doesn’t it look like it’s nighttime?  And cold?  It looks like it’s a pumpkin and berries, but it is glass and crystals.
